Happy Birthday To Megan!!!
Megan is the ripe old age of 23! Denby and Jason decided to throw her a birthday bash in the backyard. Teresa and I took a break from moving to help celebrate. It was a nice cool evening for an outdoor party. There weren't even that many bugs. The deck was nicely decorated with lights. The food and extensive beer selection was within easy reach. You have to love birthday parties.
Everyone had arrived by 8pm. The kids came down from Baltimore to join everyone from Annapolis. The highlight of the food choices were Maryland Crabs. Most everyone sat at a long table and picked to their heart's content. If crabs weren't your pleasure, Denby and Jason prepared chicken and assorted sides. All so very tasty.
Most eveyone sat around and talked the entire evening. It was great to catch up with Pete, Heidi, Scott, and Joanne. I hadn't seen this group of people in sometime. It seemed as if the summer was treating everyone well up in Bmore.
Halfway through the night, Denby calmed the crowd for a rather important announcement. Matt took the floor and proclaimed Megan to be pregnant. Crazy. My hat goes off to the happy couple. They seem to be ready for this leap of faith. I wish them the best, and I'll help out in anyway I can.
The evening didn't last forever. Don't you wish some days wouldn't end? Birthday's can feel like this. I hope Megan had a wonderful one. I know we had a fantastic time helping her celebrate. I would assume, the best gift was that of a child. Good luck to the both of you and have a wonderful 23rd year!
