Happy Birthday Day Boddy Dylan!
Today, Bob Dylan turns 64. Everyone who is reading this entry would more then likely agree, he is one of if not the best lyricist of our time. His rhymes and rhythms have shaped generations from the early 1960s to the present. It is almost impossible to choose a favorite album. Could it be "Blood on the Tracks" or maybe "Highway 61 Revisited?" I don't think I can choose. No matter what you choose, the fact remains, Bob Dylan has been an amazing influence on a large part of popular culture and individuals since 1962.
Strange Movie
Don't watch "Primer" unless you like thinking way way way too much. Teresa and I rented it on Sunday. This movie is completely out there. First of all, it starts out as a engineering junkie flick. Afterhours from a regular job, a group of four engineers are building a machine. Two stumble across and unexpected application for their invention - time travel. From this point, the movie really turns into mush. Its hard to follow, and most things do not match up. An imdb comment helped clear up the plot for me, but even the explanation was choppy and confusing. I say, steer clear unless your mind is really ready to be tested.
Great Seats
I have been a member of Coldplay's fanclub for sometime. They have always provided cool things for fans like special movies, free exclusive music, and now pre-sale tickets. This has been my biggest regret with the band. I have never seen them live. I should have gone to those 930 Club shows back when "Parachutes" was released. You can't change the past, but the fanclub has helped shape my future. I won a lottery for a chance at presale tickets to a show in Camden, NJ and Holmdel, NJ. I elected to give the Camden a go...
