Wishing Upon A Star

Don't we all wish upon a star? I mean, there are things we all want that seem so far out of reach. You really just need to hope hope hope and maybe maybe maybe you'll we see your dreams actualized. As a sidenote, I wish I could see more stars from this area of the world. Damn light polution. The Eastern Shore is better for star gazing then Annapolis. Enough sidetracking, I went to Armadillos last night wishing.

WRNR was out at the bar with a very special contest - trip to Ireland to see U2. Well slap me sideways all the way to next Sunday. Like I wouldn't stop by for this. I grabbed a Pottsville Nectar and promptly filled out an entry form with my relevant information. I tried to signup a few family members, but I can't remember anyone's address. DOH!!!

I never win contests. I do remember winning an action figure from a candy bar when I was twelve. That was the best day of my life. Is that sad? Anywho, I'm wishing on a star to see the rockstar's U2 in their native Ireland. How could that be a bad time? Show me someone who thinks so, and I will guide them back into the light. Wishing. Wishing. Wishing.

Thanks for getting the song "when you wish upon a star" in my head simeon..i now have the sudden urge to go to DisneyWorld...I'm sure you have higher aspirations than seeing U2 in Ireland...but best of luck nonetheless...also...I'm not sure Ireland is still U2's homeland...isn't Bono American now?...I mean they played the SuperBowl halftime show... isn't that the last required step to becoming an American citizen?...if not, it should be...

Wasn't their IPOD commercial filmed in Ireland? I didn't have to win a contest to see that.
