Happy St. Patrick's Day!

Well, I was going to stay in this St. Patrick's Day, but my dad called me from a street festival in Easton on the way home from work. If he is going out, I have to keep the family tradition alive. Aren't we German? No Matter.

Good thing Denby, Jason, and Matt were meeting over at the Boatyard in Eastport. They transformed the establishment into Maguire's for the day. "Home Of The Pint Drink" in Eastport. I sat with Denby and Jason while we awaited Matt's arrival. We partook of Irish Beer like Beamish.

Our waitress was extremely nice. Angie, was it? She provided us with free t-shirts. Matt eventually showed, and we ordered food. I had Braised Lamb Shank. The meat was tender and awesome. The plate was garnished with potatoes, or course. Jason had Lamb Stew, and Denby had Corned Beef and Cabbage. Ritchie arrived for the very end, but Denby, Jason, and I had to roll. Denby has to defend her thesis on Friday. Good Luck! Jason has a lot going on at work, and I had to work early. Heading back to NYC for ABB on Friday.

All in all, it was a good meal. I was happy to celebrate this extraordinary holiday even if for a bit. They were at Maguire's last year so, this might be a tradition to uphold. We shall see. Gotta love the Irish.
