Pre-Christmas Cheer

The week really flew. Why can't four days be the total work week? Three days of weekend is much much better then two. Wouldn't you say? I don't think any of us have a chance, but next week I get one more before the New Year! If this were to change, we could all go out three nights in a row. Fantastic. That is what we did this week. I got the text from Gina after work. Time to hang out with those great girls.

I was picked up from my house around 9pm. I love that I am on the way to downtown for most. This means such kind door to door service. No on had eaten any dinner so, Tsunami was the destination. At first, it was just Myself, Gina, and Marie. Michelle, Laura, and Carlos joined us for dinner. We only had to wait about a half an hour for a table in the back. We ordered Tuna, Shrimp, Begal, Cucumber, and other assorted Rolls. I love the Begal and Shrimp Rolls. I also had some Seaweed salad, but it wasn't as good as Joss. We also ordered a few bottles of wine.

Toward the end of the meal, we saw some DJs loading into the restaurant. I knew they had house on Thursdays. I walked over to see who was set to spin. It was DJ Peake, and old old friend of mine from Middle School. I was excited to maybe stay for the set. I gave Gina some house CDs for Christmas/Birthday, and I hoped the girls would want to stay. I couldn't convince them House was a better idea then O'Briens. I'll have to come back out one Thursday. Its so close.

Laura was kind enough to drive us down Main Street. It really is getting cold. It has felt like winter for two weeks. At O'Brien's, we found a few spots at the back bar. One of Marie's old friends from St. Mary's was in attendence. I talked to him about skiing and travel. He had been to Zermatt, and we reminisced about skiing from Switzerland to Italy. So Sweet.

The night ended around 130am. We had been mixing Wine, Beer, and Liquor for too long. Our bartender friend (well the girls know him), was being very kind. At the end, I had to throw away a full drink. It was just too much! Lucky for me, I was shuttled back to my house. I just began my two weeks of no Ritchie so, I blasted Rusted Root and danced around the living room before sleeping. I am a moron. It was a great Thursday night. I'd love to have more!
